Supporting early-career developers contributing to Bitcoin open-source.

Vinteum’s Fellowship Program supports promising developers who are beginning their journey in Bitcoin open-source development. Fellows receive mentorship, financial support, and technical guidance as they explore the ecosystem, grow their skills, and begin contributing to important Bitcoin projects.

Who This Program Is For

Have completed the Bitcoin Dev Launchpad or have strong self-taught foundations

Are passionate about open-source and eager to work on Bitcoin full-time

Want to explore different areas (Core, Lightning, tools, testing, etc.) before specializing

May not yet have a clear project proposal or funding history

6 months of financial support to focus on open-source work

Regular check-ins and mentorship from experienced devs and Vinteum staff

Technical feedback and community onboarding

Support to present at conferences, contribute to repos, or join future grant programs

Our Fellowship Program does not follow a fixed application cycle. While most fellows come through the Bitcoin Dev Launchpad, we also welcome direct inquiries.
