Monthly technical discussions, rooted in open-source culture.

Each meetup is locally organized and adapted to its community, offering anything from in-depth protocol deep-dives to accessible sessions that ease newcomers into Bitcoin's technical foundations.

Vinteum supports monthly BitDevs meetups in six Brazilian cities — São Paulo, Florianópolis, Curitiba, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, and Porto Alegre — following the Socratic format from BitDevs NYC to foster high-quality discussions on Bitcoin protocol design, implementation, research, and open questions.

What To Expect

Open, peer-driven discussions on Bitcoin protocol and Lightning

Deep dives into BIPs, pull requests, research papers, and implementation details

A respectful, no-slides environment designed for shared learning

Conversations that go beyond surface-level hype

Code of Conduct

BitDevs meetups are open, respectful spaces for technical discussion. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

All participants are expected to treat each other with respect, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, appearance, political views, religion, or background. If you experience or witness any issue during a BitDevs meetup involving organizers or attendees, please contact us immediately at info@vinteum.org.

Vinteum reserves the right to withdraw support from any meetup that fails to uphold these standards.

A Private, Safe Environment

Our meetups follow the spirit of the Chatham House Rule: participants are free to use the information discussed, but may not reveal who said what or where it was said.

Meetups are never recorded, and photos may only be taken with the explicit permission of everyone appearing in the image.

We want everyone to feel comfortable participating, asking questions, and engaging in open discussion, including anonymously, if they choose to. The goal is to create a respectful, technical, and welcoming space to learn, teach, and build together.
